I cultivated a photoshoot showcasing the beauty and wonderment of the traditional style of Indian bridal gowns with modern-day elements. The shoot was hosted at the lavish Cairnwood Estate in Bryn Athyn, Pennsylvania. If you follow my blogs, you’ll remember reading about this same venue in various bridal photo shoots I have organized before. This architectural masterpiece has been home to marriage celebrations since 1896 and is reminiscent of a French Chateau. It’s not only an exquisite environment to have a photoshoot, but evident to host a wedding.

                My stunning models for the day, were draped in the most elegant style and design from premiere bridal boutique, Nazranaa in Iselin, New Jersey. Since 2012, Nazranaa has dressed brides and grooms from all over in traditional Indian garb for their days’ worth of wedding celebrations. Paired with the perfect jeweled pieces by Glitter Trunk, each model brought breathtaking tailor to each photograph.

                Since I photograph many Indian weddings, it was important to me to become more enlightened on the topic of style and tradition and by working along side Nazranaa, it became evident to me how much I truly enjoy capturing weddings from all different cultures and beliefs. Nazranaa specializes in lehengas, sarees and anarkalis for women and sherwanis and kurta pajamas for men. It’s an endless array of outfits along with customs design options, as well.

                I had such an experience with this photoshoot-I really love diving into to different bridal styles. What’s trending versus what’s traditional. Observing how a bride transforms into a Goddess right before my very eyes-working along side fellow vendors who feel the same as I do. It’s not just about “the shot”, it’s about the experience.
