Jessica and Kevin Gambrino's Wedding Day at Clarks Landing Yacht Club
There’s something to be said about a wedding near the shoreline. A sense of peace and relaxation, of fresh beginnings and new chapters. The warm sun, salt air and gentle sea breezes is a level different from any other. Jessica and Kevin’s wedding was exactly that. A day of good vibes and beautiful smiles dedicated to their love.
Jessica and Kevin were married at one of my favorite Jersey shore venues, Clark’s Landing Yacht Club located in Point Pleasant Beach. The reason for Clark’s Landing being one of my favorite venues is simply because their attention to detail and warm mannered staff mean everything to a couple and their families when planning a wedding. Their building flush across the water with docks and big windows throughout to catch a view at every turn, is what makes anyone having a wedding there, worth it. Jessica and Kevin were an absolute delight to work with; all smiles and laughs-incredibly easy to capture the love they have for one another. Jessica’s bridesmaid’s were beyond gracious and helpful, not only to Jessica, but to me as well! Constantly fluffing and adjusting her dress, making her laugh and looking at her with such adoration, made photographing them and Jessica effortless.
After Jessica and Kevin said their vows in front of their friends and family, it was time to eat, dance and be photographed. Their first dance was beautifully choreographed to Mariah Carey’s song “Hero” and photos I took of them on the dock and in front of the outdoor floral area overlooking the shore, made for amazing moments. I had a great time capturing another shore wedding and I truly wish Jessica and Kevin a lifetime of happiness. Any time I have a great experience at a venue, I need to give credit where credit is do. Clark’s Landing Yacht Club made my job incredibly simple by offering a wonderful location, extremely helpful staff, fantastic lighting and decor and plenty of space to move around.
There are so many components that go into having a wedding day be photographed successfully. When the photographer has the chance to work with (not just for) the couple, their family, the venue and guests it makes for a great event to be had by all. You can see with each photo I share along with the blog post, that there is this naturalness with every person I took a photo of. A romantic classicism that is timeless. A shore wedding for the books.
