CFDA’s New York Fashion Week 2018 kicked off on Thursday, September 6th in true New York City style and I had the extraordinary pleasure to attend one of the best runways and presentation show lineups, today.

    NYFW, no matter for Winter or Spring, always draws an eclectic mix of fashion high-profilers, muses and respected veterans rubbing elbows with the elite of Hollywood. Pre-events, post-events and after parties add to the beauty of a week that takes months and months to prepare and perfect.

    My morning started with the 10am Emerging Designers show with a spectacular range of up and coming designers with ranging influences. I was enamored by every collection that was presented by the following designers:

• Naldo Montanez: Menswear / Puerto Rico

• Street Lux by Charda Simons / Bermuda

Each designer and each collection paved the way for even more up and coming designers waiting for their own time to shine. The introduction to brave design concepts and energetic tone is what gives NYFW it’s glamour and everlasting following.

There’s something to be said about the Spring 2018 NYFW. Following is Autumn and then the Holidays which quickly transitions into a New Year with new beginnings. It encompasses everything that New York City is: fresh starts, constant evolving and an endless supply of creativity.
