Caroline and Ty’s Wedding

There are times when you come across a wedding that is so unique, the entire day takes your breath away. Caroline and Ty one of the sweetest fun-loving couples, I’ve met so far in my wedding photography journey, were created for one another. Boasting their love from start to finish of their wedding day was completely magical.

Caroline and Ty have a romantic story. A story of long distance love over years, only to make it work and make the commitment to be husband and wife. A story of shared interests and passions, shared work ethic and love of helping others. A cool couple, a couple you get excited to hear is coming over to the get-together. I was overjoyed photographing their love, it never skipped a beat. It was always on point. Their love was in your face, but not in an obnoxious way. A way that makes you want that type of love.

I photographed them on the battlefield grounds of Princeton University. Whether you live in New Jersey or not, a must is to visit the gorgeous town of Princeton. I was enthralled by the Gothic styled architecture, the grounds, the downtown, the energy-practically everything. Caroline’s family lives in Princeton and she and Ty decided to host their reception in the backyard of her parent’s home which was beautifully designed and organized by Carismas Party Planning Services.

The tone for the reception was low-key and casual yet still aesthetically stunning. Environmentally friendly and fun-they had a pizza food truck at the reception in which guests could choose from homemade, authentic pizza. It was incredible.

The evening was spent dancing, playing backyard themed games, eating, making lovely toasts and celebrating Caroline and Ty’s forever love. It was whimsical and romantic, inviting and entertaining, care-free and full of wonderment. They were a handsome couple to photograph, an easy couple to photograph. Natural with themselves and one another-I hardly needed to pose them, they took to being in front of my camera as if they were professionals. Working with a couple like this, makes your job a little less daunting since you don’t have to plan posing options. Most couples are this way and some are just really shy. But with a little bit of patience and creativity, you can turn any couple into the couple that can work the camera.

I was so grateful to be asked to work on Caroline and Ty’s wedding and wanted to take the time to thank Carismas Party Planning Services. It was definitely a day and wedding to remember.
